What this scheme funds
This Italian national scheme gives a fixed cash grant to road haulage companies that buy heavy commercial vehicles with low environmental impact, such as electric, hybrid, LNG or CNG trucks. The grant amount depends on vehicle type and weight, and it increases if the purchase is paired with scrapping an old polluting vehicle. Total funding available is 50 million euros nationwide.
