Demonstration for Long-duration Battery Energy Storage Systems (BATT4EU Partnership)
BATTERIES and ENERGY · HORIZON-IA · TRL 6 to 7 · Needs partners
What this call funds
This call funds demonstration projects for long duration battery energy storage systems that run for more than eight hours and can support grid scale or industrial energy needs. It aims to reduce Europe's reliance on critical raw materials by using abundant, low cost, sustainable materials and to generate real operational data to support an EU wide storage strategy. Projects should cover technology demonstration, use case definition, hybridisation potential, digital monitoring, techno economic analysis and safety assessment.
