Thermal energy optimisation and waste heat recovery of high energy demand IT rooms in buildings or small edge data centres
BATTERIES and ENERGY · HORIZON-IA · TRL 6 to 7 · Needs partners
What this call funds
This call funds demonstration projects that recover and reuse waste heat from small IT rooms and edge data centres located in buildings, in the 100 to 500kW range. It wants cost effective, state of the art thermal management solutions, tested in both cold and warm climates, that feed excess heat into building heating systems or local district heating networks. It also supports developing solid business cases for these heat reuse approaches and sharing performance data and best practices across the sector.
