What this scheme funds
This Italian tax credit refunds road transport companies for part of the extra cost of diesel fuel bought between March and August 2026, compared to February 2026 prices. Companies get back up to 70% of the documented extra spending, claimed as a tax credit rather than a cash grant. If total requests exceed the available budget, the refund is scaled down proportionally.
