What this scheme funds
This Lombardy regional scheme funds mixed public-private groups to build 'Innovation and Development Zones' - collaborative hubs where businesses, universities, public bodies and social organisations work together to boost innovation, digital transformation and international reach in a specific territory. Groups first submit a strategic masterplan describing their sector focus, governance, planned spaces/labs/services and financial sustainability; those that pass can get a grant covering 50% of consulting costs (up to 100,000 euros) to prepare a fully detailed strategic plan for the second phase.
