What this scheme funds
This is a public guarantee fund that helps small and medium businesses and professionals in Italy get bank loans, leasing or other financing even if they lack sufficient collateral. Instead of giving cash grants, it provides a state guarantee to banks and financial intermediaries, replacing the need for costly real or insurance-based collateral. Almost all businesses using it have obtained financing without pledging additional guarantees.
