What this scheme funds
This funding helps early-stage startup teams that are already part of the Seedbed Venture Catalyst programme overcome specific hurdles in their venture-building journey. It can be used for things like producing a test batch of a novel ingredient, negotiating contracts, securing IP, hiring a co-founder, or buying lab equipment. It's designed to unblock progress at critical moments rather than fund a whole project.
