Increasing mitigation of GHG emissions and feed efficiency through feed additives
Call 02 - single stage (2027) · HORIZON-IA · Up to TRL 7 · Needs partners
What this call funds
This call funds research and innovation projects that develop and test new feed additives to reduce methane and other greenhouse gas emissions from livestock, especially large ruminants, while improving feed efficiency and keeping animals healthy. Projects must prove the additives work safely across different farming systems, address regulatory risk assessment, and help farmers and advisors adopt these solutions more easily. Two projects are expected to be funded with a combined budget of twelve million euros.
