    What this call funds

This call funds demonstration projects that reduce the negative environmental, social and health effects of active railway lines and motorways on nearby neighbourhoods, turning them into more liveable, inclusive and biodiverse places. Proposals must design and test a package of mitigation and revitalisation measures in three different neighbourhoods, one urban, one peri-urban and one rural, located in different countries. The goal is to produce evidence, guidance and best practices that municipalities elsewhere can replicate.

climate adaptation · environmental monitoring · biodiversity · smart cities · construction built environment · social innovation
