What this scheme funds
This Portuguese regional scheme, run through the Azores2030 program, gives small grants (vouchers) to private companies to help them protect and use intellectual and industrial property rights, such as patents or trademarks, as a way of turning research and knowledge into business value. The total pot available is only 100,000 euros, so awards per company will be modest. Applications open in October 2026.
