    What this scheme funds

This scheme helps farmers, horticulturists, fishers and aquaculture businesses in the Netherlands get financing for investments even when they lack sufficient collateral to secure a loan on their own. The government provides a guarantee covering part of the loan amount, making banks and other lenders more willing to extend credit. It is not a direct grant of cash but a loan guarantee mechanism.
