What this scheme funds
This is an Italian national incentive scheme for building innovative renewable energy plants that have higher generation costs or reduced environmental impact. It funds power generation projects through a competitive bidding process where applicants compete for a share of available production capacity, and successful projects receive an incentive tariff. Support covers costs like land, buildings, equipment, personnel, and professional training tied to the renewable plant.
