What this scheme funds
This Italian national scheme, funded by the PNRR recovery plan, gives non-repayable cash incentives to individuals and microenterprises who scrap an old petrol/diesel vehicle and buy a new fully electric one. Individuals can get up to 11,000 euros for a new electric car under 35,000 euros, depending on income and residence in an urban area. Microenterprises can get up to 20,000 euros per vehicle (up to 2 vehicles) covering up to 30% of the purchase price of electric commercial vans/trucks.
