What this scheme funds
This scheme gives new businesses and self-employed people in Lombardy access to low-cost startup financing. Regione Lombardia provides a zero-interest loan covering 40% of eligible costs (mainly equipment and machinery), combined with a market-rate loan from an approved microcredit operator covering the remaining 60%. If the beneficiary repays at least half of the regional loan and stays current with the microcredit operator, up to 50% of the remaining regional loan can be forgiven.
