    What this call funds

This call funds research to detect, monitor and understand Solar Radiation Modification, a set of controversial climate intervention technologies. It supports building scientific evidence, modelling capabilities and earth observation tools to help policymakers track and attribute SRM activities and assess their risks to ecosystems and climate, without funding actual deployment or field testing of SRM itself.

climate adaptation · environmental monitoring · biodiversity · research excellence · civil society democracy

    Who wins this

A multidisciplinary research consortium combining atmospheric scientists, earth observation experts, ecologists and social scientists that wants to build detection, monitoring and governance tools for SRM technologies rather than develop or test SRM itself.
