    What this call funds

This call funds a large scale project to strengthen the Global Ocean Observing System, deploying ocean observation equipment and technologies to support marine biodiversity monitoring, climate resilience, and European strategic autonomy in ocean data. It aims to close gaps in under observed regions like the deep sea and polar areas, improve coordination between research infrastructures, SMEs and industry, and ensure data is openly shared. A single large grant of fifty million euros is expected to fund one project.
