    What this call funds

This call funds research projects that take promising but early stage security technologies and prove they work in real conditions, moving them from lab level readiness to a validated, tested stage. It targets disruptive innovations that help police, emergency services and other civil security practitioners better prepare for and respond to threats. The goal is to close the gap between early research and technologies that can actually be adopted by security operators. Two grants are expected, with a combined budget of three million euros.
