Factory processes and automation for de- and re-manufacturing (RIA) (Made in Europe partnership)
INDUSTRY · HORIZON-RIA · TRL 4 to 6 · Needs partners
What this call funds
This call funds research and development of technologies that help factories dismantle old products and rebuild or upgrade them instead of scrapping them. It supports tools like AI powered robots, sensors, and digital twins that make it easier to inspect, sort, repair and reassemble parts, with the goal of building a stronger European remanufacturing industry. Projects should start with early stage prototypes and advance them to a higher level of maturity by the end of the project, and include a clear business case for how the technology would be adopted.
robotics automation · advanced manufacturing · circular economy · digital twins · artificial intelligence · sustainable materials
Who wins this
This call suits a consortium of manufacturers, technology developers and research organisations working together to build and test de manufacturing and re manufacturing technology at factory scale with a credible path to industrial adoption.
