What this call funds
This call funds SMEs and start-ups to run a six month experiment developing defence technology in one of three areas, AI driven strategic decision-making, multi-physics simulation for defence environments, or distributed AI for autonomous swarm systems. Selected teams get cascade funding plus coaching from the BattleVerse consortium to build and test their solution, with the goal of reaching TRL 5 by the end of the project.

Who wins this
A single SME or start-up, or a small consortium of up to three beneficiaries, based in an EU27 country, Norway or Ukraine, with a defence relevant AI, simulation or autonomous systems solution already at TRL 5 ready to validate.
