What this call funds
This call offers small cascading grants to support research and innovation cooperation involving countries in the EU enlargement process. It funds joint regional innovation projects, collaborative uptake of research results, and people to people mobility projects connecting researchers, artists, or entrepreneurs across enlargement countries and the EU. Projects run for six months and aim to strengthen R&I capacity, policy reform, and green and digital transformation in the region.

- Applicants must be based in enlargement countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkiye, Ukraine); each entity may receive only one grant under the whole call, and entities under EU restrictive measures, including certain Hungarian public interest trusts, are ineligible.
